Vampire Battle Royale game preparing to shutdown

“Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt” is turning the lights off and shutting down its servers. Sharkmob, the games developer, made the announcement on October 27th.

“During these past 4 years, we have been thrilled to see your passion and dedication to Bloodhunt. Your feedback, creativity, and enthusiasm for our game has meant the world to us. However, despite you, our amazing community, the current player population has reached a level where keeping the servers running is no longer sustainable,” says Sharkmob.

The game first launched in April of 2022, with players taking control of vampires within the streets of Prague, fighting each other with weapons and vampiric powers. It takes place in White Wolf Publishing’s “Vampire: The Masquerade” universe, also known as The World of Darkness.

Sharkmob officially paused the purchasing of in-game currency, but players that have purchased “tokens” can still use up until the game goes offline.

“We encourage everyone to enjoy the time that remains in Prague and to keep playing, making the most of these final months together,” says the developer. “Thank you for being with us on this journey. We hope your memories from the rooftops and back alleys of Prague will stay with you as they have with us.”

“Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt” last day will be April 28th, 2026. The game will also be taken off the PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam stores that day.
