The highly anticipated “The Outer Worlds 2” released October 29th, and the game is immediately available for Xbox Game Pass users on the highest tier.

Despite recent prices to Game Pass, Microsoft is continuing to add premium titles to its subscription service to provide gamers with value. Officials say top-tier games and titles will be added day one to Game Pass going forward.

However, for gamers paying for the standard version of Game Pass – they will have to wait at least a year before “The Outer Worlds 2” is added.

The game is a sequel to 2019’s “The Outer Worlds,” and follows an agent working to stop threats to a colony, amid a factional war. The original game followed colonist from a lost ship that must help to rescue other colonists while working to take down corrupt corporations.

Both games take place in alternate version off history, where corporations took over – enforcing the rule of law. The game takes heavy influence from the “Fallout” series, as the directors – Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky – created the “Fallout” series.

“The Outer Worlds 2” was developed by Obsidian Entertainment and is currently reviewing positively. Metacritic scored the game an 81/100, while OpenCritic has currently scored it at an 89%. GameSprytes plans to review “The Outer Worlds 2” in the near future.
