
“The Florist” is a new survival horror game expected to come out in 2026 for both PC and consoles. It’s the first game from developer Unclear Games, and is expected to be an homage to former survival horror games before it, like the “Resident Evil” series.
“Survival horror is a legendary, incomparable genre that has brought joy to players all over the world for decades. ‘The Florist’ has been crafted as a celebration of this legacy, showcasing fresh designs with tense gameplay, mind-bending puzzles and stunning artwork,” says the studio.
The game follows the life of Jessica Park, a woman making a delivery to the small town of Joycliffe. Park arrives just as the town is falling prey to a mysterious affliction is impacting the town, transforming townsfolk into plant-like, floral abominations. This leads to her fight for survival, while trying to save others and solve the mystery behind the outbreak.
The gameplay will see players solve puzzles, craft powerful weapons, and fight the overgrown monsters attacking the town.
“The Florist” released it’s announcement trailer October 28th. It shows a beautiful world, filled with intriguing landscapes and horrifying creatures. The studio has yet to announce a specific release date at this time.
