Battlefield is getting in on the Battle Royale action

First-Person Shooter series, “Battlefield,” is getting in on the Battle Royale craze – as it’s releasing its venture into the genre on October 28th. It’s called “Battlefield REDSEC,” and players will be able to get in on the action for free.

Officials say it’s expected to be a separate game from the recently releases “Battlefield 6,” similar to “Call of Duty Warzone,” so players won’t be expected to purchase the new “Battlefield game.”

Battlefield Studios is releasing a live gameplay launch trailer at 11AM (ET), which is expected to coincide with the time the game is fully released. However, that is still yet to be confirmed at this time.

Officials say the Battle Royale mode was one of the first things the studio worked on, besides its “Seasons” content. The first season of “Battlefield 6” will also release on October 28th.

The season will offer three waves of content for players – called “Rogue Ops,” “California Resistance,” and “Winter Offensive. Each wave will provide players with new weapons and maps, extra features, and limited events.
