Fans of psychological horror may have a reason to celebrate this month — according to a new report, Silent Hill 2 (the acclaimed PS5 remake) is set to headline the PlayStation Plus Extra lineup for October 2025.
The leak comes from reliable insider BillBil-Kun, via Dealabs, who claims that Bloober Team and Konami’s modern reimagining of the 2001 classic will soon join PlayStation’s mid-tier subscription service. Sony is expected to officially reveal the full lineup on October 15th, with new games becoming available to subscribers on October 21st.
This timing could be significant for Silent Hill 2, as its PS5 and PC exclusivity period is reportedly drawing to a close. That means versions for additional platforms may soon be on the horizon — though nothing has been confirmed by Konami just yet.
If the leak proves true, PS Plus Extra subscribers are in for one of the service’s strongest additions this year.
