PlayStation Gear Store Shutting Down at the End of 2025 — Final Sale Now Live

Sony has announced that its official merchandise store, PlayStation Gear, will officially close its doors on December 31, 2025. Visitors to the store’s UK, EU, and US websites are now greeted with a notice confirming the shutdown, stating:

“Thanks for visiting PlayStation™ Gear Store. This site will be closing December 31st. Our Customer Service team will still be here and happy to help regarding your order. All sales are final.”

Before the store’s closure, fans still have a chance to grab officially licensed PlayStation merch at significant discounts. The ongoing clearance sale features items inspired by iconic franchises such as God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, and The Last of Us, among others.

The sale includes a wide range of collectibles and apparel — from clothing bundles and journals to thermal bottles, hats, socks, backpacks, and even commemorative coins.

Sony hasn’t shared whether a replacement merchandise platform is in the works, leaving fans to wonder if this marks the end of PlayStation’s dedicated gear store or the beginning of something new.

For now, this might be the final opportunity for PlayStation enthusiasts to snag official merch before the virtual shelves are cleared for good.
